The Company

Raveival is the original online marketplace to buy and sell secondhand music festival fashion. Currently, we contract Treet to handle the software development and customer support.  

Referred to by Vogue as the “5th season of retail,” festival wear has become a massive market. In 2022, nearly 27 million brand-new festival outfits were purchased, and one-third of them were worn only one time (ThredUp). Our mission is to unite music fans to protect the planet through fashion resale.

The Role

As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Co-Founder, you will be at the forefront of our marketing and strategic endeavors, driving our mission and vision while helping shape the future of the Company. Raveival is an early-stage business, so you’ll need to balance being hands-on with being a big-picture strategist and leader. This role is ideal for someone who wants to help build a B2C2C company from the ground up.

As the CMO, you will be critical in defining and executing our marketing campaigns and roadmap, building and leading teams, and ensuring high-quality and strategic goals for marketing efforts. You will also collaborate closely with our CEO to raise capital and secure funding for our growth and expansion.

Responsibilities 

  • Define and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy, including social media, email, paid advertising, and co-branded partnerships, to drive revenue
  • Advise the CEO, and all of the C-suite and management, as a trusted thought leader
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of employees, fostering a culture of innovation, dedication, and excellence
  • Develop and manage annual and quarterly budgets
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, and evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Lead brand positioning to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition/retention, and build customer loyalty
  • Build and oversee an influencer program including recruitment, contract negotiation, and deliverables
  • Travel to and from various music festivals with the CEO to bring in-person clothing swaps, fashion shows, and upcycling workshops to the space 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, another related field or equivalent experience 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and market research
  • 3-5 years in the marketing and content creation field 
  • Proven success as a marketing leader
  • Results-driven/goal-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills 
  • An entrepreneurial spirit
