CTO/Co-founder
The Job
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & Co-Founder, you will be at the forefront of our technological and strategic endeavors, driving our technical vision and helping shape the future of the Company. We’re an early-stage business, so you’ll need to balance being hands-on with being a big-picture strategist and leader. This role is ideal for someone who wants to help build a company from the ground up.
As our CTO, you will be critical in defining and executing our technical strategy and roadmap, building and leading our technical team, and ensuring the high-quality and timely delivery of our software products and services. You will also collaborate closely with our CEO to raise capital and secure funding for our growth and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the Company’s objectives
- Lead all product engineering, ensuring we’re building at high velocity and in accordance with the product vision
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Work closely with key stakeholders to help develop the product roadmap
- Innovate & thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
- Remain up-to-date with technological trends
- Serve as the primary technical spokesperson for the company, interacting with executive team, partners, and investors
- Develop and manage annual and quarterly budgets
- Demonstrate a genuine commitment to our mission of building a circular solution for festival fashion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field required
- Proven Leadership Experience
- Comfortable getting hands-on with code at an early stage of business
- UI/UX Design: Skills in designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- An entrepreneurial spirit
Preferred Qualifications
- Startup experience
- Advanced Degrees (a plus, but not required)
